Kolohe Kai & Rebel Souljahz NZ Tour – August 2011
In August 2011, the two biggest Hawaiian Acts; Kolohe Kai and Rebel Souljahz toured Aotearoa/NZ with a Nationwide Tour in August 2011.
4 Shows – Christchurch, Wellington, Rotorua, Auckland
This was both Rebel Souljahz and Kolohe Kai’s second time in New Zealand.
Both bands wanted to start the tour in Christchurch where they could see the devastation of the earthquakes first hand. They visited a local kura kaupapa (school) where each band performed.
There were awesome support acts in each town. Big ups to all the support acts and DJs on the tour. DJ Huntah, DJ Hemz and DJ Al Goodie. NRG Rising, Vintage, Tomorrow People, Hypnotics and Sons of Zion.
